PALO SANTO

Used for thousands of years by the indigenous peoples of the Amazon for its medicinal properties and fragrance, Palo Santo truly deserves its name as the "Holy Wood". The scent is often described as warm and sweet.

Spiritually, Palo Santo is often used for purification, meditation, to increase flow of the body’s energy, and to dispel negative energy, misfortune, and calamity.

More recently, Palo Santo essential oil has been used in aromatherapy and as a massage oil, and has been noted for its ability to combat acute rheumatism and muscle pain, as an antiseptic, and as a sedative.

Our palo santo is harvested by a group of indigenous peoples authorized by the Ecuadorian government to insure its sustainability.   New shipments arrive twice a month.
